I measured the man in the red jacket beside the Ferris Wheel. He was at least 6 ft tall. Then I measured how many 6 ft people would become as tall as the Ferris Wheel. It was three people. SO the Ferris Wheel is at least 18 ft tall. Now the trees behind the Ferris Wheel is 9 ft taller.

The average Canadian man is 5 feet and 9 inches, and it looks like it takes two of him to be as tall as the ferris wheel. So I multiplied 5.9 by two and got 11.6, because there are 12 inches in a foot. So my estimation for the ferris wheel is 11 feet and 9 inches. I would search on the internet what the real height of it is but It'll be near impossible to find the exact ferris wheel. The trees looks like another one of the man taller than the ferris wheel, so I added 5.9 to 11.8 and got 17.7. My estimation for the trees is 17 feet and 7 inches, and the trees are 5 feet and 9 inches taller than the ferris wheel.

I measured the height of the man in the red jacket standing beside the ferris wheel and he was about 6feet tall. So I took my finger and measured how many of the man in the red jacket will be needed to get to the top of the ferris wheel. I got 2. So I multiplied 6 by 2 and got 12. So my estimation is that the ferris wheel is 12 feet tall. Next I took my finger to see how many more of the man in the red jacket would be needed to get to the top of the tree. I got 1. So I added 6 to 12 and got 18. So my estimation for the tree is that it is 18 feet tall and is 6 feet taller than the ferris wheel.

I measured the man to be around 6ft like a normal Canadain man would be. Three 6ft men could is as tall as the ferris wheel. So my guess the ferris wheel would be 18ft . And the trees are around 4ft taller.

On Google, i searched up the height of the average Canadian man, which is 5'9. say the man in the red jacket is 5'9, it takes 2 of him to get to the top of the ferris wheel. so I multiplied 5'9 by two and got 11'6. so the ferris wheel is 11 feet and 6 inches tall. Now for the tree i estimated that the man in the hat and backpack standing next to the tree is 5'9, it would take 3 of him to reach the top of the tree. so i multiplied 5'9 by 3 and go 17'3,or 17 feet and 3 inches. so the tree is 5 feet and 9 inches taller then the ferris wheel.

The guy in the red jacket is approximately 6 feet tall. It takes 2 men his height to be as tall as the ferris wheel. So, I multiplied 6 by 2 and I got the answer of 12 feet. The next question asked, how much taller are the trees to the ferris wheel? Since, the ferris wheel is approximately 12 feet, adding another 6 feet to that will equal to the height of the tree. Then I added 6 more from the 12 and I got the estimation of 18 feet. So, the tree is 6 feet taller than the ferris wheel.

measured the guy to be 6ft thats the same hight as a average person
then,3 6ft people are as tall as the ferris wheel so the ferris wheel is 18ft

I measured the man wearing the red jacket and he is about 6 feet tall. It takes about 2 of the man to reach the top of the ferris wheel. So I multiplied 6x2=12. My estimation of the ferris wheel is 12 feet tall. For the next question I also used the man to find out how tall the tree is. I took my thumb to see how many more of the man in the red jacket was needed to reach the top of the tree. I got 1 which meant I had to add 6 to 12 and got 18. So my estimation for the tree is that it is 18 feet tall. Therefore the tree is 6 feet taller than the ferris wheel.

I took the height of the man in the red jacket, which is probably about 6 ft. I guessed the Ferris wheel to be about 4 times the man's height.
4x6= 24. Thus the height of the Ferries wheel is about 24 ft. The top of the trees behind the Ferris wheel look about another man taller(6 ft taller).

The man in the jacket is around 6ft tall. about three 6ft tall men would equal to the height of the ferris wheel. 6x3= 18. I think the ferris wheel is around 18 feet tall. As for the trees, The man in the red shirt looks about the same height as the man in the jacket so let's just estimate he is 6ft aswell. my estimate is that about 5 6ft men would equal the height of the tree. 6x5= 30ft tall (for the trees) the trees are roughly 12 ft taller.

I measured the guy wearing a red jacket. He was 6ft tall. Then I measured how many of him would be as tall as the ferris wheel. It was two of him. Then I multiplied 6 to 2 and got 12. My estimate of the ferris wheel is 12 feet. After I did this question I did the other one asking how much taller is the tree from the ferris wheel. I then checked how much of the guy wearing a red jacket would fit with the ferris wheel and only one more would fit. So I added 6ft to the tree's height and the answer would be around 18ft tall.

Tthe man is about six feet. It's takes about three times of the man to be the same size as the ferris wheel. So if the man is 6 feet tall and it takes three times to be the same size as the ferris wheel, the ferris wheel is 18 feet tall. It takes another man so it's as big as the trees. The trees is about 6 feet taller than the ferris wheel.

the average height of a man is 6 ft. so i took my finger and measured how many of the guy needed to be the as tall as the ferris wheel.i got 3 so i did 3x6=18. the ferris wheel is about 18 feet.i added the 1 more guy to be as tall as the tree then i did 18+6=24. that means the tree is 24ft. the tree is taller than the ferris wheel by 6ft

I searched on google that an average Canadian man is about 5.9 feet tall so the man in the red is about 5.9 feet tall. The man is almost the size of my finger so my finger can go up the ferris wheel 2 times so 5.9x2=11.8. So the Ferris wheel is 11.8 feet tall.
The tree is about 17.7 because my finger goes up 3 times so 5.9x3= 17.7

First I measured the man with the red jacket, on my computer screen and got 6 cm. So like 6 feet. Then I measured the ferris wheel with my thumb and it was about 2 of the guy in the red jacket. So I multiplied 6 by 2 and got 12. So the ferris wheel is approximately 12 feet. Then I measured the tree with a ruler, and got 18 cm (18 feet). So the trees are about 6 feet taller than the ferris wheel.

The man in the red jacket looks about 6 feet tall. 3 6 feet tall men are about the same height as the Ferris Wheel. 3 X 6= 18, so the ferris wheel is around 18 feet tall. I think 7 6 feet tall men are the size of one of the trees in the background. 7 X 6= 42, so the trees are 42 feet tall. 42 feet, the size of the tree, minus 18 feet, the size of the ferris wheel, equals 24 feet. The trees may be 24 feet taller than the ferris wheel. It's hard to compare because the tree, the man, and the ferris wheel are different lengths away from the camera that took this picture.

skathleen said...

The man in the red jacket was around 5'8-6 ft.An average Canadian man is somewhere around 5'8-6 ft. (I looked it up) and since my thumb was almost the same size as the man,I used my thumb to go up the Ferris Wheel and 2 of my thumbs reached the top. So I multiplied 6 by 2 and got 12. So my estimate is that the Ferris Wheel is probably 12 feet tall. Next, I also used my thumb to see how many I could get up to reach the top of the tree. I got 3 up, so I multiplied 3 by 6 and that makes 18. So, the tree must be approximately 18 feet tall, and the Ferris Wheel is 12 feet tall.

i estimate the man in the red jacket and he is approximately 6 feet. if you stack the man in front of the Ferris wheel 2 men stacked on each other can be equivalent to the Ferris wheel. (6x2=12) the trees are 6 feet taller then the Ferris wheel so (6x3=18) the trees are 18 feet tall

moliver said...

I measured the man and i got 4.5 cm but because he is farther back in the picture it seems he is smaller so I estimated he is 6 cm tall on the screen. I turned 6 cm into 6 ft because no one is 6 cm tall (lol). It takes about 2 man to reach the top of the Ferris wheel. 6x2=12. The Ferris wheel is approx. 12 ft. I cannot see the top of the tree so I am estimating that it takes another man to reach the top. 12+6=18. Th trees are 6 ft taller

nkatherine said...

The man in the red jacket beside the Ferris Wheel is approximately 6 feet tall. I used my fingers to figure out how many men I needed to get to the top of the Ferris Wheel. About 2 men is equivalent to the height of the Ferris Wheel. 6 multiplied by 2 is 12. So, the Ferris Wheel is approximately 12 feet tall. Then I used the same man to measure the trees. I got 3. 6 multiplied by 3 is 18. The trees are approximately 18 feet tall. So my estimate is that the trees are 6 feet taller than the Ferris Wheel.

first I measured the man in red and yellow tie,and he measured 1.2 inches. Then I measured the ferris wheel and it was 2.8 inches. 1.2x2= 2.4. There is still .4 inches left. 4x3=12 so 1/3 is left. 2 and 1/3 of the man equals the ferris wheel. The man was approximately 5.8 feet tall. Since feet equal 12 inches, you have to x 5 and 8 by themselves. 5x2=10 and 8x2=16. 10 feet plus 16 inches equals 12.4 feet. 1/3 of 5.8 is 1.7. 1x2=2 and 7x2=14. 2 feet + 14 inches = 3.2 feet. 3.2 feet + 12.4 feet = 15.6 feet.

Now since the trees are farther away from the ferris wheel, you have to use a different man to measure on. I measured the man with a hat and he was .5 inches tall. The tree beside him was 2 feet. The guy was approx. .5 goes into 2 4 times. The guy is 5.8 feet tall so 5x4=20 and 8x4=32. 20 feet plus 32 inches = 23 feet. Since the ferrice wheel is 16.3 feet and the tree is 23 feet tall, the ferris tree should be 6.7 feet taller than the ferris wheel.

if the average man in canada is approx. 6' tall then the farris wheel has to be at least 12' because I used myfingers to measure the man to the farris wheel and the farris wheel was at least double him

i measured the dude in the red he is about 6 feet.the ferris wheel is about 3 guys in the red jackets standing on the other guys head so the ferris wheel will be approximately 18 feet . Now the trees behind the ferris wheel is a little bit more than a man and a half so like a 9 or 10 feet... So the tree would be 18+10 which is approximatly 28 feet tall

The average height of a Canadian Man is 6 ft. Just by looking at the man with the red jacket it seems like two of him could be as tall as the Ferris Wheel. What I did is multiply the height of the man two times(6x2=12) which the answer will be twelve. So my estimation will be 12 ft tall. The tree looks like another man taller than the Ferris Wheel. So what I did is add 6 ft and 12 ft(6+12=18) which the answer will be eighteen. So my estimation will be 18 ft.

The average Canadian man is approximately 6 ft tall (looked it up). Then I took my thumb and measured it, and looks like it takes two of him to be as tall of the ferris wheel. So I multiplied six by two and I got twelve. So my estimation for the ferris wheel is 12 ft tall. Then as for the trees, I had to measure the man in the red jacket again. So I to my thumb again, and it looks like it takes three of him to be as tall as the trees. So I multiplied six by three and I got eighteen. So the tree is approximately 18 ft tall and the ferris wheel is 12 ft tall. The tree is 6 ft taller than the ferris wheel.

First off I found the same picture as the question but I saved the original copy. Cropped the guy wearing the red jacket. I put him in paint found the exact pixels of the guy with the red jacket. The pixel of the guy was 210x662 and the original photo pixels were 2241x2133. so then I multiplied the original 2241*2133=4 780 000. Then I multiplied the guy with the red jacket 210*662=139 020. Then divided the original picture by the guy with the red jacket 4780000/139020= 34.4(rounded off already). Then divided it by the average height of a Canadian which is 5'9(Google of course) 34.4/5.9= 5.8(rounded off) So the guy is 5'8, it would take 2 of him to be the size of the Ferris wheel which is 5.8*2=11'6 or 12 feet when rounded.
The Tree looks like it would be 3 of the red jacket boy that’s what I estimate. So 5.8+11.6= 17.4
So the tree is 17 feet and 4 inches tall, which is 5.8 or one red jacket boy taller than the ferris wheel.

Ferris Wheel:

An average Canadian person is approximately 6 ft. tall (searched for it). The person in the red jacket is aprrox. about 6/7ft tall. If you look closely, you can see that each spaces in the Ferris wheel takes about 3 people.
I multiplied 6 by 3, you would get 18. The actual height of the Ferris wheel is 18ft tall.
-----------------------------
Tree:

If the Ferris wheel is about 18ft tall, the Ferris wheel needs a half of a height of an average person to become the height as the tree. If you were to divide the person in the jacket into half (6 / 2 = 3) and add it to the size of the Ferris Wheel, you would get 21. 3 + 19 ft = 21ft.

fkiara said...

The Average Canadian Man is 6'0 (we said today)so the guy in the red is 6 feet. so im guessing 2 guys of the dude that is wearing the red jacket so it would be 6x2= 12 so the ferris wheel is 12ft. Now the trees from behind the trees seem to be anoher 2 guys in the red jacket (i measured with my thumb on my computer screen). so with what i have so far is 6x2=12. Now since I have two 12s it is 12x2=24 so the trees from behind are 24ft. which is 12 more feet taller than the ferris wheel.

Unknown said...

Canada's average man is 5.8 tall.
I think that it would take 3 men to reach the top of the ferris wheel.

12inches = 1foot
5*12=60+8=68 inches
68*3=204
204/12=17
=17feet tall

if my estimation is correct would be 4 more to reach the top of the tree

68*4= why because the closest person is near the tree so i can see better, so i measured 4 of them so:
68*4=272
272/12=22.67

to make sure

22 FEET + 0.67 FEET
BROKE IT UP
0.67*12= 8.04
22*12= 264
=272.04
round off 272 inches tall (tree)

The guy in the red is about 6 ft. tall. The man was about 2.5 of the ferris wheel. Do 2.5 multiply by 6 is 15 ft. The trees is harder to answer because the position of the pic is odd. But I think the trees are about 20 ft. tall because you only have to add a few guys to make it look the same.

The average White american male is atleast 6 ft tall so the man in the red is circa. 3 times of the ferris wheel. so then the ferris wheel would be around 18 feet tall. and the man is about 6 feet tall as well so he is 4 times as tall as the trees in the back so that would be approximately 24 feet tall

I saw the man next to the ferris wheel and used him as a measuring tool. I saw that my thumb was the same size as him. I googled the average height of a Canadian man. The results were 5 feet and 8.5 inches. I rounded up 8.5 to 9 in order to make the number easier. I put my thumb on the man and I measured with my thumb. I did it 3 times and reached over the top of the ferris wheel. It was about half over the ferris wheel so I took .5 off of 3. Making 2.5. I multiplied 5.9 2 times and got 11.8 inches. Afterwards I divided 5.9 into 2 groups making 2.95. I rounded up 2.95 to make 3 feet. I added 3 to 11.8 making the final product of 14.8. The final answer is 14 feet and 8 inches. My guess for the height of the trees is 18 feet and 7 inches.I saw that the trees were as tall as 2 and a half men. I halved 2 making 1. I multiplied 5.9 by 3 making 17.7. I added 1 to 17.7 making 18.7.

I measured the height of the man wearing the red jacket and he was about 6 feet. I tried to see how many of the man in the red jacket would it take to reach the top. It took 2 of him to reach the top. After I found that out, I multiplied 6 by 2 and I got 12.

Next I wanted to find out how tall the trees were. I tried to see how many of the man in the red jacket would reach the top of the tree. It took 3 of the man to reach the top. I multiplied 6 (because the man is 6 feet) by 3 and I got 18. My estimate is that the Tree is taller than the Ferris Wheel by 6 feet.

I measured the steel railing on the right most side and the Ferris Wheel on the computer screen with a ruler to help me get close to the answer. The values I got are 22 mm for the railing and 120 mm for the Ferris Wheel. Ordinary railings are usually about 3 to 4 feet high. I would be using an average of 3.5 feet. After that, I cross multiplied. 120 mm/22 mm = X/3.5 feet. I cross multiplied to find out what that variable is. X = 3.5x120/22mm which equaled to 19 feet (the height of the Ferris Wheel).

On the picture, the top most portion of the tree on the right side is cut off by around 40 mm on the computer screen (my estimation). So I just added 40 to 120. Using ratio and proportion, 160 mm/22mm = X/3.5 feet. This gives me a value of X= 25.45 feet (which means the tree is about 6 feet higher than the Ferris Wheel).

ikyla said...

The standard railing height is 3.5 ft. I stacked the railings upward. It took 5 railings to reach the top of the ferris wheel.

3.5 ft. x 5 = 17.5 ft.

The ferris wheel's height is approx. 17.5 ft.

The standard picnic table height is 30 in. I also stacked the picnic table upward. It took 13 picnic table to the top of the tree.

30 in. x 13 = 390 in.
390 in. ÷ 12 = 32.5 ft.

The height of the tree in the background is approx. 32.5 ft.

I think the guy in the red jacket is about 6 feet tall. He was about the size of my thumb, so I took my thumb and started measuring how many of the man would be needed to reach the top. When I reached the top it was about 2 and a half of the man. Then I multiplied 6 x 2.5 which is 15. So I think the Ferris Wheel is about 15 feet. Then I added another 6 feet to the 15 so 15+6=21, so the tree is approximately 21 feet. Then I subtracted 21-15=6. So the trees are about 6 feet taller than the Ferris Wheel.

cariel said...

The average Canadian man is approximately 5.85 feet tall.Say, The man in the red jacket was a Canadian, he is about the size of my index finger (which is approx. 2 inches) so I made a ratio of 2 inches/5.85 feet. When I measured the Ferris Wheel with my index finger, it was roughly the size of 2.5 of my index fingers. So I used the ratio of 2 inches/5.85 feet and multiplied it by 2.5 so I got 5 inches/14.625 feet, so therefore the Ferris Wheel is about 14.625 feet tall. The trees were nearly the size of 3 of my index fingers. So I use the ratio again and then multiplied it by 3 and I got an answer of 6 inches/17.55 feet, so therefore the trees are about 17.55 feet tall.

kkatie said...

Most men are 6 ft tall so i measured the man to the ferris wheel. It took about 2 mans to get to the top so 6x2=12 so the ferris wheel is about 12 ft
Now I measured the man to the tree it fitted about 3. So 6x3=18ft so the tree was about 18 ft.
so 18-12=6
so that must mean that the tree is 6 ft taller than the ferris wheel.

An average Ferris wheel is about 130 feet high. The tree is almost the size of the Ferris wheel so I'm taking an educated guess that its a small Ferris wheel at about 18 feet.

I measured the dude with the sick looking red jacket and he's approx. 6 ft tall. I takes 2 of those dudes to be an "exact" height of the ferris wheel. So I came up with an equation of 6 x 2 which is obviously 12. My answer for how long the ferris wheel is would be about 12 feet tall. After that, I went to the trees and used the same method so I used my thumb to stack the amount of red jacket dudes and I noticed that it only took 1 dude to match the height including the measurement I got from the ferris wheel (12). So since it only took 1 person I came up with 12+6 which is obviously 18. So my educated guess (estimate, predict, etc.) is that the trees behind the ferris wheel is about 18 feet if I am not mistaken. Those are my two answers, have a good day.

The man is about 6 ft. tall in the jacket. So 3 people about 6 ft. would be as tall as the ferris wheel. So i did 6x3= 18. So the ferris wheel is approx. 18 ft. The trees are half the size of the ferris wheel, so about 9 ft.

I measured the man beside the Ferris Wheel. He is probably 6ft tall. I stacked the man up 3 times but he was a half taller. 2.5x6= 15. The Ferris Wheel is approximately 15ft tall. I measured the man behind the man with the red jacket and they're both probably in the same height. I stacked him up 4 times. 6x4=24. The tree is probably 24ft.

cbreister said...

I measured the guy with red jacket is about 6 ft tall. It takes about two and a half of him to have the size of the Ferris Wheel so I did this 6 x 2.5=15 to equal the Ferris Wheel, so the Ferris Wheel is about 15 ft tall. The people behind him near the tree looks like they have the same height as the guy with red jacket and it take about 4 of them to equal the size of the tree so 6 x 4= 24, so the tree size is about 24 ft. The Ferris Wheel is 15 ft, and the Tree is 24 ft tall, 24-15= 9, so the tree is actually 9 ft taller than the Ferris Wheel.
