Percent Post Wrap up

You should have already created 2 parts of this post.

1. Introduction to percents where we copied our notes on how to find key percents.
  • 50%
  • 10%
  • 1%
  • 25%
  • You also need to define what a percent is.
2. You need to have 3 images showing Representing Percents.  You choose the 3 but you could
  • 180%
  • 12 3/4 %
  • 0.7%
3. You need to explain how to convert from Decimals to Percents to Fractions.  Choose 3 sets
  • 26%
  • 7/10
  • 0.024
4.  Percent of a number is the next part of this exercise.  Show how you could solve the following using mental math and a calculator.
  • 20% of 60
  • 0.1% of 40
  • 250% of 400
5. Combining Percents is the last part of this post.  You need to explain Discount, Sale Price and Total Price with taxes.  I also need you to explain what is a better deal 50% off or 25% off of an already reduced price of 25%. This can be done using the following questions,
  • Question 3 on page 148 or question 7 on page 149.
  • Show you know on page 148
All good posts need to have links and a video to capture our attention.  Find a good video on percent that helps us understand it more.  Embed it in this blog post.

Labels for this post are as follows, understanding percent, combining percents, decimal fraction percent, converting percent.
