Using the integers from
1 to 9. Place one integer in each of the circles, so that the sum along each side of the triangle is 20. Use each number
only once.
Use the same numbers to obtain a sum of 17 along each side. What other sums are possible along each side?

My third number was 10
i do not get this
I always get the first two sides right, but then when I get to my last side it's not equal to the rest..... so frustrated. I'm gonna fill my whole page with wrong answers... :( but ill keep trying til i get it :)
to people who have not yet gotten any of the triangles yet, write all the numbers down and draw a line to a point to the top and bottoms with numbers adding up 20,17 or any other number you are trying.then for your second one you use 3 numbers not used and 1 that was used (that is the top of the pyramid. put the last two numbers on the bottom and move the 3 free numbers on both sides around until all sides add up to what you are trying for.
haahaa took me like more than 10 trys to get one answer... ahah :D
kay this is going to drive me nuts . ahaha . its getting me confussed .
ahh, this is driving me crazy! hahaha.
It took me 6 trys to get number 20 for all 3 sides
i was soo close but then i saw a used number....there goes my idea
my 3rd number was 23
i keep getting two sides equal to the 20 but the last never works T____T
Ugh, I was so close! I had 20 for two sides, then the last side was ONE AWAY. o.o
This is very confusing how do you get all three sides to equal 17 I am still trying but arent getting it Help
I didn't take me awhile to do the 1st problem
one tip: put a side the 9,8 and 7. because they're the bigger numbers. so you wouldnt get stuck between finding numbers.
tip: do not put big numbers together in the same group of side or else it would be impossible to find an answer. :D
i finished the 20 part : i put the prime numbers on the corners . now try figuring it out ;) im now gonna try the 17 .
I always get the first two sides right, but then when I get to my last side it's not equal to the but the other one i did get the answer...
Yay! I'm done finally, it took me a while to figure the sums of 20 and 17.
YEES! I GOT IT. OMG, i love math. HAHAH.
grrr , this is HARDDD.. i cant get itt :(
okay people just in case you still haven't got it i finished 20 and 17 in like 5 min so........for 20 the right side top to bottom is 9,7,3,1 then the left side top to bottom is 9,2,4,5 okay now the bottom left to right is 5,6,8,1. okay now for 17 the right side top to bottom is 1,5,9,2 the left side top to bottom is 1,7,6,3 now the bottom side left to right is 3,4,8,2 and i still haven't got the last triangle :( oh well hope it helps :)
