Congratulations for so many of you in completing a 2 Minutes to Make a Difference Final Version.  Here they are in a playlist.  Your marks will be coming soon.

Final Version of your 2 Minutes Video

So the time has come to upload your final copy of your 2 Minutes Video.  The upload proceedure is the same as before.  You just need to change a few things:

1. Title Your movie title and FINAL VERSION
2. In the Description please have all of your GROUP MEMBERS and a 3 SENTENCE description of your movie
3. Labels are spmath, 2 Minutes2011
4. Category is Education

Hey all you fantastic Math Students. Sorry I am unable to help you out today.  Here are a few videos to help explain the work today.

Get a Textbook and turn to Chapter 9. This is what we are learning today.  You will also need some Graph Paper and your Notebook.

Here is the first video that will explain the first part of todays lesson.  It is 8 minutes long. Please follow along in the textbook and take the notes that are necessary.  Stop the video at any time so that you can get all the information. The videos can be played from home if you still are experiencing difficulty.

Well the time is almost here for you to have your first draft up at Youtube.  Your due date is 11:59 PM on May 11th.  Remember this is a first draft.  You are posting it up to Youtube so that we can give you feedback to make your movie better.  You will be marked for completing the movie on time for this first draft.  Please make sure you have it done on time.

Uploading Instructions

1. All Movies must be uploaded to spmathgr8  as the user name and the regular password we always use.
2. While your movie is uploading you need to add some things see the image.

Make the changes to Title, Description, Tags Category and make sure you SAVE.

The two marking rubrics can be downloaded and viewed here.  Remember this is how you are being marked. It would be a good ideas to read them and make sure you have done everything you need to be successful.

Your Algebra Post

Welcome one and all to your next to last blogging assignment!! Yeah? Awww? However you feel about it the time has come to explain Algebra.  Here is the first part of the assignment:

• Title _____________'s Algebra Post
• Labels blogger name, Algebra Post

Now for the work.  Please in the body of the post explain how to solve all types on one step algebra equations.  You need to use both inspection and the alge-tiles.  How you show this is up to you.  You can

• make a movie
• use pictures
• use and audioboo and pictures
• any way will work it is up to you

You also have to show both types of two step equations. One with multiplying and a constant and one with dividing and a constant.  These also need to solved using inspection and the alge-tiles. This will be the end of Chapter 1.  There will only be chapter 2 before this post is complete.  It is due on Monday(unless you are on the band trip)
